Increased revenue for plant operators

Our objective is to increase the cost effectiveness of electricity generation from renewable energies. We will help you, the plant operator, to optimise your revenue, and will ensure that your strategy for marketing the electricity you produce runs smoothly. We will work hand-in-hand with you to develop a concept whereby every opportunity is exploited to the full.

Experts in direct marketing and the flexibility premium

EnD-I AG will explain to interested producers the opportunities to be derived from the amended Renewable Energies Act (EEG), and can provide you with informed answers to all your questions about the direct marketing of renewable energies, in particular the market and flexibility premiums. We will help you, as the operator of a renewable energy power plant, to obtain a price above the statutory fixed rate.

The opportunities inherent in the Renewable Energies Act

The Federal Government is very keen for renewable energies to become more closely integrated in the energy market. From 2012, the EEG will offer plant operators like you different ways of participating in the market for electricity.

Market premium

The optional market premium set out in EEG 2012 decouples the physical supply of electricity from its source, and allows for economically viable marketing opportunities in the power sector.

Generation costs recouped

Electricity generation costs, which vary depending on the energy source, are recouped through a fuel-specific market premium and paid for by the respective grid operator.

An improvement on EEG rates

We can ensure that you receive higher remuneration than that offered by the EEG, and can enable you to share in revenue generated from demand-oriented feed-in.

Flexibility premium

The flexibility premium is paid to the operators of both new and existing plants. It is scheduled to be paid for a period of ten years based on the quantity of electricity fed in.

Need for investment

This form of demand-oriented feed-in often requires an expansion of plant capacity and of storage volume.

Focus on demand

The flexibility premium compensates for the cost of investment, and enables plant operators to respond to demand and thus increase their revenue.
